Movico updates

Over the weekend I spent a good amount of time updating movico to Drupal 7.
This was no easy effort since Drupal 7 has started using PHP's key OOP tools. Though Drupal 7 is not OO by any interpretation there is an effort to use Classes and autoloading that was not present in Drupal 6. Since there is no structure to the use of these tools and it lacks documentation of any sort the necessary updates to Movico were not easy to find. Frequently a hidden Drupal class or PHP usage collided with Movico.

Later on today I am going to change the licensing for Movico and upload a Drupal 7 branch of it to Github. Stay tuned!

Movico for Drupal 6

I will still be developing Movico for Drupal 6 though updates may not happen as often. More concentration will be given to the build of an example module and clean-up. Ideas will be tested on Movico for Drupal 7 and then ported back to D6. This is because I spend more time in Drupal 7 of late and D7 is the harder of the two to get things working.
